Fischer park located off of I-35 is the perfect place to take an amazing adventure. It has an array of things to do all throughout the year. So even the nay sayers of the group can find something that they enjoy.
The parks amenities include a great playgrounds and spray grounds that are great for the summertime and small children. They also have fishing ponds if you are more into a peaceful and bonding experience for you and your loved ones. Personally my favorite park about the park are the hiking trails and picnic areas. I love being able to spend my day walking and talking with the ones I care for and being able to make memories that will last a lifetime. Also if you are feeling even more adventurous, they also have great biking trails.
If all that doesn’t satisfy your needs, Fischer park also has and education center as well. If you feel that your kids are starting to go brain dead to video games during the summer bring them over to Fischer park for some fresh air and fun new ways to learn things. You can take them on an archaeology dig, and find things together. I know if I was there, nothing would be cooler than digging up lines and exploring things from the past. They also have a great amphitheater where you can enjoy family friendly movies as a family. Fischer park is unlike any other and an all around great place to just breathe in and relax.
