Have you ever watched an old movie and wondered what it was like to go to diners and drive-ins? If so, there’s a place were you can have a chance to step back into time and experience it all firsthand at the Stars and Stripes drive in theatre. It is located in New Braunfels, Texas right off I-35. Opened in 2015, it has been playing movies everyday since starting at 6:00pm no matter the weather. It is a great place to go with friends and family. Its also pet friendly.
A great thing about this drive in theatre is the 50’s cafe. Unlike most conventional movie theaters, the drive in has a menu ranging from burgers and fries to chicken wings. It offers options that even the most pick of eaters will enjoy. So now instead of having to go and eat before a movie; you have the ability to get there early and enjoy a nice meal relaxing among the pillow forts you have made in your cars or the beds of your trucks. Its like your bed away from home.
The drive in is personally one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is unlike any other. I have gone there many times with friends, family, and on dates and each time its a whole new experience. The best thing about it is you get to see two movies for the price of one! Each screen has a double feature every night allowing you to see two new blockbusters at once. If you want to make memories that last a lifetime, this is an experience you cannot pass up.
