The Things I’ve Learned

I have learned so many things this semester that I never thought I would have. Writing this blog has giving me a new view on how I explore places and that I should always try new things. New braunfels to the naked eye is just a small little town with nothing to offer. After this semester, I have learned that is far from the truth. New Braunfels is a bustling little town full of history and culture, making it unique and perfect in its own ways.

I have also learned a lot about word press and writing an effective blog. When I first logged into WordPress, I thought I was never going to be able to work this site but its honestly so easy. Adding pictures, links, and being able to code anything the way I want is great. The only part of WordPress I found hard was trying to get to the admin page. I feel like if they made it easier to access the admin page it would allow for greater creativity when people are writing and designing blogs. I feel like I could be able to help businesses express their own brand better and get them out into the world.

Now lets take a look at how many people have seen all the great things New Braunfels has to offer. My most popular week was October 22 with seven views and one visitor. My most popular post was my introductory post “The New Braunfels Experience” with three views. Nothing really surprised me about my stats data, I’m just hopeful more people will see it in the future. I also hope to get more followers on twitter allowing for my posts to reach more people who want to explore this great town. Just remember to live life to the fullest and make memories with those you keep close.
